Maintaining harmony between game and forest management and minimizing game-induced agricultural and forestry damage are emphasized at KEFAG Zrt. We try to improve natural habitats by establishing forest belts and intermixing native tree species and shrubs, which in turn enhance biodiversity. Intensive game management (game enclosures) helps to reduce environmental damage caused by high game abundance.

The 1996 Act LV on hunting emphasizes big game management, thus game enclosures have been established, while, due to natural and economic reasons, interest in small game has gradually diminished.
